For this project I was asked to create a unique typeface from an existing font, the font picked is Baskerville. I used images of an octopus fabric that I recolored from grey to purple. The back waves are another fabric that was also recolored. The letters are not lined up straight to show them in water and the fluidness of the letters.
PROCESS
This project started with cutting out the alphabet of Baskerville. High quality images of the letters with different backgrounds (all fabric). Some "handgloves" were made to so show all potential options. The octopus fabric went under some color changes. First round of posters were created.
